In 2004, Mike Larsen became a full time employee of Graham and Associates, and Jim became an exclusive collaborator in the region The Light Collaborative provides lighting design services throughout the Pacific Northwest and the Rocky Mountain region as part of the firm. .
Rising Sun Enterprises Basalt (Aspen), CO Lighting consulting and specialty distribution company, Rising Sun is especially well known for energy efficiency, sustainable design, and its thoughtful and naturally integrated architectural lighting. Pioneers in dark sky environments and in efficient and beautiful designs for the Mountain environments. Robert Sardinsky, LC, President. Jim serves as an Associate and consulting lighting designer for Rising Sun and regularly works in Basalt with Sardo.
Monrad EngineeringTucson, AZ Chris Monrad and Jim Benya became friends working together on the Board of the International Dark Sky Association. Since then, Monrad and Benya have joined forces to provide lighting and daylighting designs to schools, university, health care, and residential projects in the Southwest. Jim makes regular trips to Tucson and works closely with Chris, Larry, Fernando and Joe.
